Following the technical issue it encountered on 24th July, Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZER A7-BAG positioned Chicago – Doha in the early hours of this morning as QR3264 and immediately entered the Doha maintenance facility.

Qatar Airways B787-8 A7-BDD Delivered.

Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8 A7-BDD was delivered Paine Field – Doha this evening as QR3372. The aircraft is in Large Logo/Medium Oryx livery and 22J/232Y configuration. This brings the Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8 fleet up to 30 aircraft and completes deliveries based on current orders.

Following its diversion yesterday, Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZER A7-BAW departed Ho Chi Minh City this morning continuing yesterday’s diverted QR928 Doha – Manila routing Ho Chi Minh City – Manila as QR928D. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed QR929 Manila – Doha routing Manila – Kuala Lumpur – Doha as QR929D.

Qatar Airways A330-200 A7-AFM was withdrawn from service and entered the Doha maintenance facility this evening after arriving as QR1324 from Khartoum.

Qatar Airways A350-900 A7-ALB Overnight Adelaide Delay.

Qatar Airways A350-900 A7-ALB arrived into Adelaide this evening as QR914 from Doha (depart Doha 11th July), however the return QR915 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a crew issue.

Qatar Airways Boeing 777-3DZER A7-BEI operated QR7 Doha – Stockholm Arlanda this morning, however following the earlier Boeing 787-8 technical issue at Stockholm Arlanda the return QR8 was cancelled and the aircraft instead positioned London Heathrow – Stockholm Arlanda as QR3450 in order to operate the delayed QR170 Stockholm Arlanda – Doha.

Qatar Airways A350-900 A7-ALI was delivered Toulouse – Doha this evening as QR3350. The aircraft is in 36J/247Y configuration and Large Logo/Medium Oryx livery and is the ninth A350-900 for the airline.

Former Al Maha Airways A320SL A7-LAD, which has been under maintenance at Shannon since 23rd June, positioned Shannon – Doha this morning as QR3254. The aircraft has been repained from Al Maha Airways into Qatar Airways livery.

Qatar Airways began a 3 x weekly amendment to the QR1395/QR1396 Doha – Casablanca rotation from today with it operating as a triangular Doha – Casablanca – Marrakech – Doha service QR1395. Today’s first triangular service was operating by Boeing 787-8 A7-BDB.
